Lamin-x protection film (PPF) AKA Clear Bra is a thermoplastic urethane film that is applied to the painted surfaces of a new or used car in order to protect the paint from stone chips, bug splatter and minor abrasions. Lamin-x protection film is applied using a fitting solution which is usually soap/water based. This acts to block the Lamin-x adhesive so as allow the installation without bubbles and creases.
